Phoenix
Homes Colchester is an established
organisation, our Charity having started in 1966 to provide supported
housing to people with mental health problems and
learning disabilities, coming out of large institutions. In 1993 we expanded
our remit to include a rehabilitation resource for people with alcohol
misuse problems. In 1997 we reorganised our alcohol facility to provide
a therapeutic structured Day Programme, retaining three beds for people
going through a crisis.
How is our charity managed?
We are managed by
a Board of Directors which is comprised of nine Directors and four ex
officio members:
